By engraving a specifically calculated pattern into the back of the neck, your hand comes in contact with 70% less wood than it would on an otherwise normal neck. Your hand only touches 30% of the neck. The rest is air!
The result is a smooth, lightning-fast neck that doesn't grip or stick to your hand.
