A long scale length combined with greater string spacing creates a sparkling tone with a firm bass and great string separation. Gear setup: 1970s Stagg EB3 into a 2016 Pure Tone Amps Offset into a 1971 Marshall 1982A with G12H30 55Hz Pulsonic Greenbacks, miked by a 1960s Beyerdynamic M160 close mic and a 1970s/1980s AKG C451E room mic. Apogee Duet into IPad and cubasis.
