http://www.musicgearguys.com teamed up with http://www.wmdevices.com to bring you the Geiger On-Board effect unit from outer space. Fuzz, Octave, Ring Modulator, Gate, and crazy sounds from Saturn, all in a 5 way rotary switch...of doom. Gregory, at MGG, chose his favorite 5 settings from the Geiger Counter from WMD, and put them into this little gadget that installs quickly and easily into your guitar. They're affordable, and too much fun!
About the guitar: I wanted a SUPER STRAT sort of guitar, so I called up my bud at http://www.kingbeeguitars.com KINGBEE GUITARS, and told him what I was thinkin...he said, "FIESTA RED", I said okay. I had some http://www.graphtech.com Graph-Tech saddles and a Tusq Nut, also from graph tech, and told him to slap them on with an HSS setup and get me rockin. The pickups in this video, are from http://www.mojotone.com , although at this point, I have already changed over to Duncans....ah...pickups! Ya just can't ever have enough! Anyhoo...the guitar turned out great, and will be seeing a lot of airtime on demos to come.
This demo was done with a http://www.drzamps.com DR Z STANG RAY head and Avatar 212 Cabinet. MusicGearGuys are also a Dr Z dealer.
Big thanks to Gregory at Music Gear Guys for having me at the shop to dick around with all his goodies. This one really turned my ear....haven't stopped playing with it yet!
