Today we have an awesome signature model from the Gibson Custom shop, based on Alvin Lee's 'Big Red' ES-335! This instrument is a bit of a departure from a standard 335, with an extra single coil pickup installed from the factory as well as the controls to manage it. A faithful recreation of Alvin's guitar, right down to the block-inlay neck that replaced the original dot-inlay when Alvin broke his guitar in the early 70s. Today we have Nick Mardon on the demo through a 1961 Fender Tremolux that left the factory in a single-speaker configuration!
