Sarah MacDougall grew up in in southern Sweden, surrounded by ocean, forest and farmland. She started playing the organ at 7, before picking up her mum’s old guitar from the attic at 11. Now Sarah splits her time between the Yukon and Ontario. With her strong songs, powerful guitar chops and a captivating voice she's become a rising star on the Canadian music scene, collected multiple Western Canadian Music awards and nominations and played major Canadian and International festivals. She has shared the stage with artists like Cat Empire, Tallest Man on Earth, Bruce Cockburn, and Passenger. 24 hrs Vancouver called her “one of the most promising exports out of Sweden since ABBA.”
Her most recent release, ‘All The Hours I Have Left To Tell You Anything’, is a record about strength, identity, death, the breakdown of relationships, birth, and the ghosts we honor and carry throughout.
