The Standout was designed to be a precision mid booster. Guitarists have long used their mid-boosted overdrive pedals with the gain turned off to push their amps to saturate the mids while keeping a tight bottom end. The problem with this approach is that you are stuck with the fixed mid boosting EQ of the overdrive pedal you use. Enter the Standout, which lets you dial in the exact amount of bass cut (HPF) and treble cut (LPF) to sculpt your tone and push your amp into its unique sweet spot.
- True bypass with buffered bypass option via internal switch
- More EQ range & less noise than the original Focus pedal
- Dry blend for dialing in a less pronounced "mid hump"
- Filters can be 6dB or 12dB for more extreme EQ cuts
