Breaking away from the Martin acoustics we've spent a lot of time with recently, we're going even further back to 1931 with a first-year 12-fret Gibson L-00! This one is before they had pickguards or strap buttons, and even has the old "The Gibson" script logo, which is just too cool on a black-finish guitar from this era. There is obviously some heavy wear on the lower soundhole area as there is no pickguard, but the instrument is crack-free and in great playing condition. It has been dialed in with a neck reset and a re-fret, which combined with the surprisingly slender neck profile leads to an absolutely fantastic little guitar to play! The sound is to die for, as you'll hear in the demo, thanks to the age of the wood and x-braced body.
