This 1960 Fender Stratocaster is finished in Sunburst and is all original with the following exceptions: a brand new repro headstock logo that we have installed ( see video ), 1 intonation spring ( all bridge screws and saddles are original ) and a low number of pickguard screws ( pickguard itself is original ). There are a few very small holes from an aftermarket back plate that was installed. There is no back plate with the guitar anymore however a vintage repro would look just fine and cover any additional holes at the same time..

Everything else on this guitar is 100% original right down to the frets, solder joints, white "chicklet / phonebook" capacitor, tuners, hardware, plastic parts - you name it, it's original. The body cavity pencil dates to 8/60. The original black back single coil pickups sound amazing and measure as follows : Neck - 5.72k, Middle - 5.19k, Bridge - 5.65k. The neck has never been sanded down as is the case with so many of the early 60's Strats. This one has been worn in from regular playing time. The neck pencil dates to 9/60. The Brazilian rosewood slab fretboard features clay dot inlays and its original frets and original nut. This Strat still even features its original three way selector switch and it has never been swapped out! Also, this guitar comes with its original brown Fender hard shell case.
