For legal (and general factual) reasons, we cannot say that this Martin & Bruno parlor guitar from the 1830s is “one of the oldest functional guitars on Earth.” However, we could argue that the fact that Nathaniel wants to say as much after playing this nearly two-century-old Martin & Bruno acoustic guitar, himself, does say something about how well-preserved and eminently playable it remains—even despite its age!
