Gretsch product specialist Joe Carducci showcases the latest archtop to join the family.
The renowned Gretsch New Yorker archtop has been in the company's catalog since the late 1940s. Recently, Gretsch added a new version of the New Yorker to its Roots Collection, based largely on its original designs. The latest model, the G9555, with solid spruce top and laminated maple back and sides, adds a single-coil rubberized pickup with volume control knob. The esteemed Joe Carducci gives us a look at the new release.
