The M-104 is a reissue of the '70s version from MXR's beginnings, offering a surprisingly wide array of tones from two controls. The unique op-amp and soft-clipping from germanium diodes gives the MXR Distortion + tube like sensitivity and a raw, fuzzy edge that works well on clean or overdriven amps.
