We've got a modern pick for you all today, but excellent nonetheless - A top notch 2012 Gibson Custom 1960 Les Paul Standard R0 Historic, and its Tom Murphy aged! This guitar is a faithful recreation of the 1960 Les Paul Standard in excellent near mint condition, with a great neck profile and a ton of resonance. The BurstBucker pickups are strong and produce a very authentic PAF tone. Our amp today is one that many of you may not have heard of, from manufacturer Top Hat. This amp, the Emplexador, is based on the 1968 Plexi delivering 50w of power through a great 2x12 matching cabinet. There are quite a few tonal options to dig into on this amp so come down and check it out! Today we put Dan Phelps on the rig and cranked that beautiful Top Hat amp just to see how good it is when its really cookin'!
