Blackstar first met Toby Lee at NAMM 2019. Toby had been invited to play at the Gibson NAMM jam to play along side guitarists such as Billy F. Gibbons, Peter Frampton, and Jared James Nichols to name but a few. Toby slotted straight in and blew us away with his talent, style and passion for playing guitar. We wanted to get him a Blackstar amp as soon as possible so he could achieve his ultimate tone.
Toby was introduced to the HT-20RH MkII and the HT-212VOC MkII and from the first notes it was a match made in heaven.
The HT-20RH MkII is now Toby's amp and Toby's sound. Toby uses the amp on his popular Sunday session play-through.
