I know I'm not exactly set up to give you a proper before and after demo, so you'll just have to take my word for it. I looked through all the forums and the most common speaker recommended for the Hotrod Deluxe was the Eminence Cannabis Rex, for its hemp cone, to kill the shrill out of the amp. It does just that and more. It's a HUGE improvement over stock. More full, more bottom end, more round tone over all. Much more articulate. Nice crispy tone, the way I like it. No shrill anymore. I suspect, any upgrade to the stock speaker would yeild similar results.
