From Hendrix to Gilmour this Fender® Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Stratocaster® Relic Aged White Blonde has classic vintage vibe with just a little extra kick. The Fender hand wound Ancho Poblano bridge pickup is has some punch. With a little overdrive I was able to get that singing lead tone Gilmour uses on "Time" and "Comfortably Numb". Add some fuzz and I walked right into "Purple Haze" and "Manic Depression". The Fender hand wound Ancho Poblano neck pickup is smooth and gives you plenty of warm, round "Little Wing" tone. The 2 and 4 positions on these Fender hand would Ancho Poblano pickups have that cool quack you can find on Clapton's "After Midnight".
