Say hello to the newest members of the Player Plus family - the Meteora guitar and Meteora bass! 👋

The introduction of the Player Plus series in 2021 built on the foundation of the popular Player Series, and took it to the next level. Made in Ensenada, Mexico, the Player Plus series guitars and basses are augmented with special features for the advancing player who’s looking for that “something extra.”

Fusing innovative Fender design with player-centric features and exciting new finishes, the Player Plus Meteora models deliver superb playability and unmistakable style. What really sets the Player Plus Meteoras apart is their super massive sound. All-new Fender Fireball™ Humbucking pickups and versatile circuitry give the Meteora models a high performance edge.

The first thing everyone notices about the Meteora is its radically offset body. An all-original Fender design, the Meteora made its debut in 2018 as a Parallel Universe Limited Edition. The positive response from players was incredible, and it now has a permanent home in the Player Plus series.

The sculpted angular body has a deep cutaway that allows quick access to the upper reaches of the fretboard. Unconventional yet balanced, the exciting Meteora shape sets it apart from anything else on your guitar wall.
