Eric Carranza is a multi-instrumentalist composer and guitarist based in the Lowertown Arts District of St. Paul Minnesota. He recently carved out some time to mesmerize us at ZVEX Headquarters with a piece of ambient music. He used our Instant LoFi Junky on his Teenage Engineering OP-1 sampling keyboard to add some audio motion to its loop. His guitar went through our Box Of Rock for some amp-like grit, he added some dreamy swirls with our Vibrophase, and topped off the mix with another analog loop of guitar employing our LoFi Loop Junky sampler. The Ebow like sounds were achieved with his Sustainiac equipped Stratocaster. The guitar went through a vintage Hiwatt SA-112 combo set clean, the OP-1 went through a vintage Ampeg SVT and 8X10 cabinet. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
