100% original & in fantastic shape for its age. Part of the "Map" guitars that were quite popular in the early '60s, this gorgeous Westwood 77 features a solid maple body & neck, double single coil pickups along with an under-saddle pickup, and finished in a gorgeous trans cherry. Professionally inspected & set up by our accomplished luthiers, so it plays & sounds wonderful. Really nice condition for its age with some typical light play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Nicely rounded neck, chunky maple neck with well-aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Map-shaped solid maple body with some nice flame figuring throughout. Trapeze tailpiece & clear plexi pickguard with National Val Pro badge & white stenciling. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.6 oz.
Two single coil pickups along with an under-saddle pickup. Each pickup has its own pair of volume & tone controls. Master volume knob & 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage Gretsch Astro Jet hardshell case included.
