In this edition of "Tone Clone", Joel demonstrates how to achieve the signature electric guitar tone of the Rush classic "Freewill", from their 1980 release "Permanent Waves".
Armed with a Gibson Les Paul, Marshall DSL40C Combo Amp, and a Strymon Deco, Joel accurately recreates the gooey & smooth distorted tones Alex Lifeson was able to achieve on the original recording.
