This guitar, a Fender Custom Shop Todd Krause Master built Clapton Stratocaster Black would certainly be appreciated by Clapton himself, especially since Fender Master Builder Todd Krause is building Eric Clapton's touring guitars. This is an instrument that can run the gamut from spanky cleans a la Lay Down Sally to the searing lead tones on the Journey Man record. The Mid Boost adds in a lot of output making the Noise Free Single Coil pickups sound like high output hum buckers. A factory installed 5 way switch gives you immediate access to all the quintessential Strat tones. The neck profile is a slender Soft V which is very easy on the hands. The 9.5" Radius allow for easy bending across the 22 Vintage Frets. The gorgeous AAA Flame Maple neck is finished with a satin urethane that is never sticky and simply will not slow you down no matter how sweaty your hands get. This guitar is finished in Black and bears the Blackie name on the back of the headstock.
