The original Super Overdrive was lauded as a hallmark overdrive pedal, with tube-like asymmetrical diode clipping rounding out its medium-gain profile. The new SD-1W reimagines this all analog circuit to deliver a wider range of dynamic, amp-like tones. The secret sauce of the SD-1W is the new toggle switch that changes the circuit from standard to custom mode. In this new custom mode, the SD-1W's tonal range is effectively boosted, and a dollop of creamy gain enriches the overall sound.
