After a years-long hiatus, the Lollar Broiler is back! This customer and staff favorite is our take on the classic sound of the Rickenbacker® Toaster®, delivering the classic jangle and chime made famous on countless seminal recordings.
When a supplier of some of the parts needed to build the Broiler suddenly went out of business several years ago, we had to discontinue it. Recently we were able to source quality parts from a new supplier, and we’re excited to be able to offer this classic pickup once more.
Our Broiler is a drop-in replacement for 6-and 12-string Rickenbacker® guitars. It offers excellent balance from string to string and between neck and bridge positions along with improvements to clarity and definition, and a shimmering top-end chime that’s present but never brittle or harsh.
