The T-Rex Alberta Overdrive goes above and beyond the traditional tube screamer. The Gain turned up produces thick, creamy, sustaining overdrive with just enough of a mid boost to kick you out front but not sound nasally. With humbuckers, the overdrive is still silky smooth without getting muddy or tubby. The low end is tight and dynamic and the Tone control has a very wide range without getting muddy or tinny at the extremes.
