This Fender® Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1954 Heavy Relic Stratocaster® Natural features all the period correct components but swaps the fret size to 6105 and give us a 9.5" radius for increased playability over the Vintage spec'ed guitars. The neck is a Chunky U shape that still feels great in all positions. The 54 pickups are bright, chimey and have just the right amount of sparkle. The 5 way switch grants us all the classic start tones. The Bakelight parts are the icing on the cake. They have a more rounded appearance, the knobs, pickup covers, serialized backplate and Football switch tip all are telltale signs of the '54 Strat. This is a lively and resonant guitar with a decidedly 1950's vibe in terms of tone. The 1 piece Ash Body helps the body to resonate up against your ribcage.
