Singer-songwriter Eliza Gilkyson has been a mainstay of the Austin scene, thanks in large part to her soulful, engaging voice and vibrant social consciousness. Gilkyson visited Acoustic Guitar headquarters, her 1951 Gibson CF-100e in tow, to deliver a wonderful three-song set, including a couple of songs from her Grammy-nominated 2014 release, The Nocturne Diaries. We also get a chance to chat with her about her approach to songwriting, her little-known 1969 debut album, and her impressive acoustic collection, including her vintage CF-100e and its unique dual pickup system.
