In this video we explore how to use Spectravox in Filter Bank mode to process and color external instruments.
We begin by showing how to connect an external drum machine (in this case the Roland TR-606) to the Carrier input of Spectravox and how you can take advantage of the Program section and its preamplifier with gain control to boost external signals. We use the level controls of all ten bands of Spectravox for traditional filter bank and graphic equalizer processing and turn up the resonance for more metallic and wild sounds. We also look at how the innovative Spectral Shift control and integrated LFO can move all ten filters up and down the frequency spectrum.
