I have been looking for an overdrive pedal for a long time now. I was able to play this Wampler Ecstasy at my local shop and was blown away. This thing is killer! I've not played a pedal that covers as much ground as this one. It is truly versatile.

I'm running my parts HSS strat and my Frenzel 5E3 Tweed Deluxe clone. I added a bit of reverb post production to liven things up a bit. I love reverb, what can I say ;)

Timeline:
0:01 - talking
2:17 - dry tone

3:09 - smooth mode clean boost
3:46 - low gain OD
4:30 - clean up with volume knob
7:00 - gain at 12:00
8:13 - gain at 3:00

10:13 - crunch mode
11:20 - clean up funk
12:30 - gain at 3:00 - sweet feedback
13:25 - clean up with volume knob
15:00 - EVH?

16:20 - Open mode
18:00 - fat and heavy
18:30 - dynamic mild overdrive (may be my favorite setting)

19:43 - back to smooth mode
