Greatest Rock Jazz Blues Guitar Lick Ever - How To Play - Guitar Lesson Guitar Instruction and Breakdown - Part 2 of 2
Alright so maybe the title is a bit ambitious to say the least. But it is a pretty awesome guitar lick and concept.
Please check out part 1 of this lick (at this link) ...

And check out the description below that video for some information about this lesson series.
And as promised ... to reveal the guitar player who came up with this lick ...
That would be the great Scott Henderson. This is off of the 1985 Jeff Berlin CD called Champion and the song is called Three Nighter.
I believe this CD is out of print but can be purchased on Amazon used ...

I did just find it on youTube ...

I love scott's playing on this CD ... very aggressive ... and this was before he began using the whammy bar on everything (which I don't mind as much as some folks ... but I do really like when he did less of it like on this CD).
Anyway ... the lick in this lesson begins at around 2:50.
Hope you guys enjoyed this lesson and got something out of it. This is a really REALLY cool concept to make your solos sound unique. And a way to take standard licks that you play all the time and give them new life.
Also as a note ... we are excited to be using a new Wampler Euphoria Pedal on this video. I haven't had a lot of time to play with this pedal yet. But what I have heard (and felt) while playing around with it for a little while ... pretty darn impressed. It's hard to find a pedal that is truly touch sensitive ... giving a nice full gain but cleans up well when dialing back the volume on the guitar ... all while not affecting the tone of the guitar much at all.
So to say the least ... I'm liking what I'm getting from it in my shot time spent with it. We will be doing a full review on this pedal and several others in the coming months ... so we hope you stick around for that also.
I hope you enjoy this lesson ...
