VIDEO DESCRIPTION & SIGNAL CHAIN INFORMATION
For over four decades, the MXR PHASE 90 has been a mainstay on the pedal boards of millions of musicians around the globe. It doesn't matter whether the genre is rock, metal, alternative, jazz, world-beat or if the instrument is guitar, bass, keys, vocals, or strings...the Phase 90 has been there through it all to add its distinctly lush voice to a musician's tone palette. Voted as #4 on Guitar World Magazine's "Top 50 Stomp Boxes Of All Time," countless legendary riffs have benefitted from the sonic qualities of this pedal.
Every M101 Phase 90 made today by Dunlop's MXR team is a faithful recreation of the very same classic "Block Logo" pedal that has been in use since the late '70's with the only changes being the addition of sought after modern updates such as True Hardwire Bypass, a LED status light, and a 9volt adapter powering option.
The warm modulation heard in the MXR Phase 90 which goes from subtle, spatially enhancing shimmer to all-out, high velocity swooshes in the simple turn of one knob is accomplished by the 100% analog circuitry and hand-selected FET transistors that go into this timeless orange stomp box.
