Does an old NOS chip always sound better than modern op-amps? I'm not so sure about that.
But does a hand-built piece of gear with carefully selected components sound better than mass produced ones? 100%. I mean, just watch the video. :) Ohh, and this one also has the original op-amp of the last TS-808 prototypes. I guess that's not too shabby. Haha!

** Why the "Includes paid promotion" message? **
According to german laws everyone has to mark their videos as advertisements as soon as there's a single "subject relevant" product, tag or link in it. Even if you didn't get paid for making that video. Sounds confusing and it really doesn't help the viewer to see which is a paid review and which isn't.
