This video looks at ways to incorporate creative patching to achieve non-traditional delay effects with Matriarch.
Matriarch’s stereo delay section features two analog delay lines that can be used for lush stereo effects. Uncommon to analog delays, Matriarch’s delay section also features the ability to sync to an analog clock, as well as patch points allowing for voltage control over all the delay’s primary parameters. Through patching, control voltages can be used to modulate the delay times while synced, yielding interesting harmonically shifting delay effects—the likes of which are typically only found in the digital realm.
