Sporting a classic single cutaway body, you might be fooled into thinking Jackson has gone for an old-school approach with their new JS Series Monarkh SC. Not quite—designed with a 12–16" compound radius fretboard, you've got a curve near the nut which flattens out towards the body so it's perfect whether you're playing chords or shredding on those higher notes. A pair of Jackson high output humbuckers takes care of both pristine cleans and ripping high gain lead riffs.
