This is a mid-tempo shuffle in the key of A with a Texas Blues swinging feel. This tempo is slow enough to allow for really fast lead lines, but doing this too much of the time takes away from the groove, so I tried to stay slow, and focus on good timing and phrasing. Playing this way is harder IMO because it is much easier to make mistakes when you're not relying on muscle memory and having to think about every note and phrase.
Here's the backing track I found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XWYxQWY8TM
In this video I'm playing a Yamaha Revstar 720B in Vintage Japanese Denim through a Kemper Profiler loaded with a Matchless Clubman profile from Michael Britt, part of his 2020 Pack: https://mbritt.com/product/2020-pack/
