The RAR amp features a XLR and 1/4 variable line output that captures the entire amps sound.
You can also turn off the power section of the amp, effectively using the RAR as a direct device with any Impulse Response you would like to use.
I personally use the Fractal 111 for this and can record at home with multiple cabinets using the IR's in the Fractal while capturing the whole tone of the RAR amp. This video demonstrates that.
In a live situation you can use the RAR amp with no power section into your IR and direct to the front of house, or use the RAR power section with the RAR 1-12 custom designed cab with Celestion Alnico Cream, AND also use the XLR out with IR's to the front of house, effectively combining a live mic'd cabinet with any number of IR's for many tonal variations.
