We have all seen them - sleeper amps! But did you know that some of them can be the best amp you will ever buy? Some of these amps cost thousands when the first come out, but magically after just a year or so drop to ridiculously low prices then cease production, but that's a good thing although you might not know it!
Once you know the facts buying almost ANY sleeper amp (that used to be expensive) can be a veritable bargain. Think of it this way, if that amp originally cost say $2500 (or £2500) and now it's available for just a few hundred then what has changed? NOTHING! You still get the highly expensive amp with exactly what was there when it was new regarding sound and original quality right? And some of those amps are REALLY good!
In this video I show you the inside and out of a couple of sleeper amps that were discounted to the hilt, and get to the nitty-gritty of what these two could do for you.
Along the way, I also show you a couple of really cool pedals too (a Seymour Duncan Gain Booster and a TS-808 Hand Wired from Ibanez). Find out about one of the best kept secrets of floor pedals - that gain boost is really cool and so underrated and never really seen you will be glad that you found out about it right here.
Lastly, I show you both sleeper amps being played: first the Fender Machete (which had a fault from new on it) and a DV-Mark Triple 6 that can sound particularly good if you get hold of one and press the right buttons.
