C&C Custom Luan Poplar Luan 5pc Kit

This custom ordered C&C 5pc kit was featured at their booth at the 2013 NAMM show, and is comprised of luan/poplar/luan shells with reinforcement rings. Sizes are 12x8, 13x9, 16x15, 22x14, and a matching 6.5x14 snare. The finish is technically a wrap, not unlike the cortex finishes of the 70s. This kit has an almost "pre-eq'd" sound, with plenty of warmth, focus, and a round fatness that is perfect for recording situations.
