Show me all the Alvarez guitars: https://gtrgtr.uk/AlvarezGuitars
As a proud dealer of Alvarez guitars, we thought it was only right that we spent a little time showing you guys the ropes when it comes to their fabulous acoustics! Highlighting that quality and price don't necessarily have to go hand in hand, we love the brand's no-nonsense attitude when it comes to their craft, continuously bringing guitars to the market that are not only extremely playable, great sounding instruments, but that are also very fairly priced; giving you absolutely loads of bang for your buck and competing with much more expensive models.

With that in mind, we've selected a model for every stage of your playing career and thought we'd highlight just what it is about these that made them stand out to us!
Alvarez RD26SB Dreadnought - https://gtrgtr.uk/RD26SB
First up is our beginner's selection, the affordable but unbelievably capable RD26SB. Coming in at under £200, this is a fantastic option for anyone buying their first serious acoustic, or indeed players who are simply looking for an affordable but great sounding guitar! Starting with its design, this model was specifically built to give beginners a high-quality model to learn on and Alvarez have done just that, using layered Spruce and Mahogany to give it a great look and a lovely tone with plenty of volume.
However, additions such as multi-ply binding on the body’s top and an abalone soundhole rosette go well beyond what we'd generally expect in this price range and it really does have the look and feel of a pricier model. With a slim, comfortable neck that feels phenomenal to play, we've been well impressed with these guitars. They even come with a gig bag for added value!
Alvarez AF60 Folk - https://gtrgtr.uk/AF60-Folk
The next model to make our list is one that we see as perfect for more experienced players. Again offering fantastic value for money, we couldn't leave out the AF60 Folk, one of our favourite models from Alvarez. Utilising an A+ grade solid Sitka Spruce top along with Layered Mahogany back and sides, the AF60 has a gorgeous bright tone that will make an impression on you from the first time that you hear it. Its orchestral body shape contributes to its tone and projection, giving you loads of volume and allowing every note to come through with its own space and attack. Again featuring touches of class such as an abalone rosette inlay on the 12th fret and Ivory coloured multi-ply binding, it's a seriously handsome chap too!
Tremendous for fingerpicking due a distinctive voice, we fell totally in love with the AF60 models from the first time they arrived in our stores and they've remained among our favourites within this price range, providing a natural sound with loads of clarity.
Alvarez MFA66CESHB - https://gtrgtr.uk/MFA66CESHB
The final model that we'd like to highlight is one that's truly exemplary in terms of build quality and value for money; the Alvarez MFA66CESHB. Reasonably priced, despite being one of the brand's flagship models, this is a professional quality guitar that you can bag for less than £700! This orchestral model features an all-solid top made from African Mahogany which leads to a gorgeous and very distinctive tone, with plenty of emphasis on the mids, along with punchy lows and bright highs. Its neck is also made from mahogany and its semi-gloss finish feels fantastic to play. Flaunting Acacia & Paul Abalone binding and inlay work which perfectly offset its dark woods, the MFA66CESHB is a beautifully crafted guitar and as with each model we've mentioned, it can compete with far more expensive options in pretty much every area.
Bringing its own unique sound and vibe to the table and featuring high-quality onboard electrics to ensure it sounds every bit as good when you plug it in, this is an absolute steal for anyone in the market for a top quality acoustic that they can gig with.
