Greg Hetson of Circle Jerks and Bad Religion fame still vividly remembers the over-the-top reaction there was to punk music back during the 1970s.

"Since there was so few people into that type of music and it was so frowned upon, people were frightened of it," said Hetson in this video. "There would be stuff on TV saying, ‘Did your son or daughter turn punk? Send them to the psychiatric ward. Film at 11.’"
