Scottsdale, Ariz., School of Rock student James has been playing guitar for a little over two years, but music has long been a part of his life.

"I was never really an athlete and so from a very young age, I've just had music inside of me," said the 15-year old. "There's a quote that I love and it's 'You don't play instruments, you play music.' I love listening, I love playing, I love hearing others — going to concerts."
