Yes, it's a little touristy and usually very crowded, but when it comes to great blues music, Blue Chicago on Clark is the real deal. The music is red hot, the singers and players are always bringin' it, and they usually deliver a great show to the crowd. The doorman Lorenzo is cool and funny, and the crowd a great mix of locals, international and domestic tourists. The club tends to feature female vocalists and this makes it all the more unique.
