I added a Bright Cap on the volume control using a 100k resistor in series with a 500pf cap across the active legs on the volume pot. This is always enabled in this demo. The lower volume clips are a little less dark than before.

I also added a NFB mod as found on Rob Robinette's website. Position 1 on the switch is stock 5E3 with no NFB. Position 2 lifts the bypass cap on V2. Position 3 lifts the bypass cap and adds 56k of NFB. Still experimenting, but this mod is awesome!
