Welcome back to Friends Pick Friday, and today we have Dillon Warnek in the shop! A Seattle native now living in Nashville, Dillon is always on the move and happened to be back in town for a bit and we're lucky enough to get him in. Being a player of good taste, he naturally gravitated toward a beautiful 1966 Gibson ES-335 - an excellent guitar refretted by Mike Lull and sporting a pair of Pat# pickups and completely original short of the refret and new nut. To get the solid body side of things taken care of, we selected a 1965 Fender Stratocaster with an original Candy Apple Red custom color finish - a few minor modifications have been made to the guitar but it is nonetheless exceptional. The third instrument pick is a Pin-up Custom T-Series, #44, built by none other than Eric Daw himself when he was still living in Seattle - nothing short of a top-tier instrument! All of this was amplified by a Goodsell Custom 33 Reverb 1x12 combo, a 30-watt EL84 combo with a touch of AC30 vibe built in Atlanta, GA. We put it all in Dillon's hands to do what he does best!
