Old Blood Noise Endeavors Presents: Fault V2. In this OBNE AV exploration we lean into the challenges of trying to produce a video in the Covid_19 era, tapping everyone who works at OBNE to lend their talents in a safe and distant fashion. There were many challenges indeed, issues w/ white balance, differences in frame rates, syncing 23 tracks of audio with no real slate, transferring footage and audio from all over the State, and encode glitches that won't go away (peep Adobe's contribution to the render at 4:01). It was a wild ride, also very much worth it. We all learned a lot, and while this isn’t necessarily a workable template for future OBNE videos, it stretched us all further then we’re used to. Feeling a lot of pride for the talented people we work with, everyone got involved and was up for the challenge, even as it would start to unravel at points, each person deftly navigated all of the problems that arose throughout the process and we were able to see it through.
So here you have an up tempo sonic endeavor with every instrument running through the Fault V2—even the drums reamped in post-production—recorded remotely by Brady, Blake, Kilyn, Connor, Dan, Sarah, Matt, Isaac, Sean, and Seth.
