On May 3, Native Instruments hosted ‘Cinematic Soundscapes’ at NeueHouse on Sunset Boulevard for a special Native Sessions. Featuring some of Hollywood’s leading composers, the event explored the art of film scoring, examining the relationship between picture and sound, and looking at the trends and challenges of today’s soundtrack industry. During the event, Drum & Lace, Ian Hultquist, Xander Singh, and RYAT came together to create a score from scratch for the short film, The Red Balloon.
