The smallest of Taylor's body shapes, the Grand Concert sports a tapered waist that maximizes playing comfort in both standing and sitting positions. Its focused voicing provides excellent mid and high response, which is great for articulating fingerstyle and lead playing. Its short scale length also means it boasts lower string tension, which makes for easier playing. Grand Concert guitars have model numbers ending in '2' (like the 812e).
