The first White Whale showed us that analog spring reverb and tremolo could be packaged in a pedalboard friendly design. Now, the Crazy Tube Circuits White Whale V2 drives the springs further with an overhauled power amp section to give you more headroom and 3 reverb sizes and voicings. Following in the footsteps of vintage outboard units, the new Dwell control uses an analog circuit to mimic the tube drive and transformer saturation that comes from slamming the signal into the tank. And you can fine tune all of it with a Tone control for mellow or maximum splash, a Mix and Output level which has a whopping 20dB of boost onboard, perfect for pushing the White Whales independent Tremolo section.
This analog tremolo has 3 modes: Opto to cover all the familiar Blackpanel territory and choppier waves, Bias for a lopsided swagger and touch of vibrato or the White a new Harmonic offering, complete with Hard/Soft switch for various depths and freq ranges.
Lastly, you can choose to place the Tremolo before or after the Reverb for maximum versatility while the Exp inputs let you control both Trem Rate and Spring Mix remotely.
Crazy tube circuits build the White Whale V2 in Greece using high quality components and soft click true bypass switching. Check them out at CrazyTubeCircuits.com
