Today we have the first of a few videos featuring LA-based Jacob Evergreen, who was in the shop yesterday so we thought we'd have him play a couple of really cool instruments through a new Carr Skylark! The guitar today is a 1959 Fender Esquire that is a top-loader model, so the strings are run through the bridge plate instead of the body. This guitar is incredibly resonant and has the perfect growling bridge pickup tone you'd want from this style of instrument, and its slim c-shaped neck plays great! Of course, the Carr Skylark performs like a champ just as one would expect. We'll have a few more videos soon with Jacob playing different styles, so keep an eye out!
