Today we compare the Danelectro Cool Cat Tremolo with the Danelectro Tuna Melt Tremolo.
My general thoughts
- The Cool Cat is a bit choppier while the tuna melt seems rounder
- I noticed very slight coloration of tone with the Tuna Melt when the pedal was on.
- The Cool Cat is true bypass, the Tuna Melt is not
- I did not notice any change in depth using the depth knob while in hard (square) mode on either pedal.
- The fast speed seems the same on both, but the slow speed is slightly different
- There seemed to be a very slight drop in volume with the Tuna Melt when engaged
Both are great for the money.
