This Reslosound Ribbon Microphone (RBH/TS) is an icon of the 60s, prominently used at The Cavern Club in Liverpool and becoming commonly referred to as 'The Beatles Microphone' as a result.
This particular microphone is needing a new ribbon, as the old one is starting to buzz against the motor housing.
Re-ribboning a microphone requires a steady hand and a lot of patience. It's tricky work, but the results speak for themselves.
