This is my review of the Artist TweedTone 20R Amplifier. This amplifier is heavily inspired by the Blues Jr and Classic 30 amplifiers featuring a set of 12AX7 preamp valves and a set of EL84 power amp tubes. Much like the other amps mentioned the Artist TweedTone 20R also comes stock with a 12" Celestion speaker. What sets this apart from the former is the fact it's half the price of both the Blues Jr and Classic 30 and also has an overall master volume. One of the limitations of the Blues Jr would be the fact it only has one channel and no dedicated clean channel - not the TweedTone! It has two channels - clean and dirty. It also is a 20-watt amplifier perfect for small clubs and gigs. You can also use an external footswitch to change channels but I don't have one to show you that in the video. The footswitch input in the rear of the amplifier.
